Once connected, you'll find several folders in the file share. Here's how to use the main ones.

Your Username Folder
Private storage and backup space

Personal Dropbox

The folder that matches your username is your private space. Use it as your own dropbox for files you want to keep safe and backed up.

Public Folder

The public folder is where we store music, pictures, and anything else to easily share across the network.

Getting Started

After connecting to the file server, browse to find your username folder for private storage and the public folder for shared content. You can drag and drop files directly into these folders from your device to start using the network storage.

Common Issues & Solutions

Connection Refused
  • • Verify the server IP address (10.0.0.55) or hostname (datasphere)
  • • Check if file server service is running on the server
  • • Ensure you're on the same network
  • • Try using port 445: smb://10.0.0.55:445
Authentication Failed
  • • Double-check username and password
  • • Try using domain\username format
  • • Verify user has permission to access the share
  • • Check if account is locked or disabled
